Crematorium and Burial Ground Team Manager (Temp 6 months) £14.30 ph

 

Working on behalf of our client we are looking for an experienced Team Manager covering the Poole and Wimborne burial grounds. Leading a small team across both sites for an anticipated duration of 6 months on a full-time basis

 

Key Experience, Knowledge and Skills

·       Previous experience in an operational environment

·       Ability to develop, coach and support colleagues.

·       High standard of personal appearance, excellent communication skills and professional conduct and behaviours at all levels

·       Be able to organise, prioritise and have a high attention to detail.

·       Self-motivated with ability to use initiative.

·       Excellent time management

·       Computer literate with experience of Microsoft office and ability to learn in-house systems.

·       Ability to work either within a team environment or independently to achieve objectives.

 

People

·       Manage the colleague payroll, rotas and complete 121’s and performance reviews.

·       Support all colleagues in their induction within appropriate timeframe and any necessary L&D programmes required.

·       Effectively coach and supervise colleagues regarding best practice and assess any training needs.

·       Manage any people issues in a timely manner in conjunction with Colleague Relations.  Escalating to Operations Manager where necessary.

·       Assist with recruitment, selection, and retention of colleagues.

·       Colleague management, development, effectiveness, and efficiency of teams

 

Commercial Financial

·       Financial KPI’s, budgets and targets

·       Operational efficiencies in line with SLA’s and targets

·       Cost and efficiency improvements

 

Compliance

·       Compliance with all legislation and Society policies and procedures

·       Risk management engagement and control

·       Licence and permits achieved/renewed.

·       Compliance with all Company and Governing Bodies rules, regulations, and statutory legislation
