Production Operative Wanted - Apply Now!

  • Full-time, temporary to permanent.
  • 40-hours per week, 5 days per week.
  • Saturdays paid at time and a half.
  • Bank holidays worked replaced with time off in lieu.

Pay Rate: £12.01 to £12.81 per hour (depending on food production experience).

You must have some food production experience and be able to communicate in written and verbal English, due to health and safety requirements.

  • Paid Trail and Training shift pattern is Monday to Friday.
  • Once training completed you can consider alternative shift patterns.
  • Career Development to Machine Operator positions (with increased hourly rates up to £14.44 per hour).
  • There is the potential of shift pattern changing later in the year, but you will be made aware of any changes well in advance.

Duties:

  • Working on a busy production line and warehouse environment.
  • Using food production machines.
  • Following written instructions on daily work sheets.
  • Lifting, carrying, and handling products up to 25KG.
  • Movement of product around factory automation lines.
  • Quality checking and following precise instructions in a strict health and safety work-based environment.
  • Wearing PPE gear throughout shift, gloves, and face mask, lots of hand washing due to food safety standards.

Due to the rural location, working hours, and lack of reliable public transport links, you will need your own car, motorbike, scooter, or bike. If you live locally then you can travel 30-minutes by bike to get to and from work every day, but it will be up and down dark country roads.
