My client specialises in the designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing state-of-the-art, custom Smoke and Fire Curtains for a wide range of buildings.

They are currently seeking an Estimator to provide customers and distributors with accurate, technically sound, and timely quotations.

Key Duties

·         Assess Requests for Quote (RFQs) and identify suitable, compliant solutions from the available product range.

·         Prepare and review quotations to ensure accuracy and completeness based on the provided information and drawings.

·         Ensure quoted margins align with business agreements based on product type and target market, flagging any discrepancies for management review.

·         Identify and escalate major projects for pricing evaluation by management.

·         Analyse customer requirements and recommend the most relevant and cost-effective solutions for each inquiry.

·         Accurately and promptly update project details in the CRM system to maintain business-wide visibility of quotations.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers and distributors.

·         Assist the Bid Manager in preparing major tenders.

·         Collaborate with other Coopers Fire departments to ensure customer needs are effectively met.

Skills & Experience

·         Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages (particularly Excel)

·         Excellent communication skills

·         Experience in a Manufacturing environment (Desirable)
