Archivist / Legal Cashier

My client is
offering a mixed and varied role where training will be given throughout.
Looking for
someone who has genuine enthusiasm and motivation with an aptitude for numbers
and a keen eye for detail.
This is a
full-time role working 9 am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday and at the Chichester
Office.
Main
responsibilities/key tasks (not exhaustive)
Archiving
- To archive files in accordance
with the firm’s policies and regulatory requirements
- To maintain the client database
in connection with archived files
- To liaise with fee earners,
external storage, and secure shredding companies in relation to file
collection, retrieval, and destruction.
Trainee
Legal Cashier
To assist
with all aspects of the cashiering function, including but not limited to:
- Processing financial transactions
relating to client matters in a timely manner and in accordance with the
SRA Accounts Rules.
- Managing and reconciling supplier
invoices and credit notes, ensuring invoices are paid within agreed terms.
- Preparing payment runs, including
BACS transfers and cheque payments.
- Processing petty cash and credit
card expenditure.
Required
qualifications, skills and experience
- Previous experience working in a
professional office preferred, although not essential
- Strong communication and team
working skills
- High attention to detail and
accuracy
- Good organisational and time
management skills
