My client, a manufacturing company located in Waterlooville, is seeking an Estimating & Internal Sales Administrator to become a vital part of their team.

 

This role is central to their estimating and sales processes, providing crucial support to ensure seamless operations. Collaborating closely with the estimators and sales team, you'll be responsible for managing customer inquiries with efficiency and care. Your exceptional organisational skills will shine as you handle record-keeping, prepare estimates, and assist throughout the sales cycle. You'll also liaise with various internal departments to guarantee client requirements are met and projects are delivered on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on creating estimates and customer quotations.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and database systems.
  • Act as a communication link between the estimating team and other internal departments.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • Prepare and dispatch sales quotations as needed by the sales team.
  • Monitor project schedules to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Provide administrative and documentation support to the internal sales team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or sales environment.
  • Strong organisational abilities and high attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of estimating techniques and sales processes is advantageous.
