I am seeking a motivated and results-oriented Internal Sales Representative to join a dynamic sales team based in Portsmouth. This position is perfect for someone who excels at generating new business opportunities through cold calling, enjoys fostering client relationships, and has experience in selling tangible products.

Due to the products you are selling, prior experience in technical or product-focused sales is a significant advantage.

Your responsibilities will include:

·         Identifying sales prospects,

·         Managing both inbound and outbound communications,

·         Supporting the wider sales team through tasks such as attending exhibitions

·         Participating in occasional client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate outbound calls to Emergency Services and Wholesalers to drive sales growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching and engaging potential customers.
  • Create and deliver personalised proposals, quotes, and product details to prospective clients.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and proactively follow up on leads generated from marketing team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings as needed to showcase products.
  • Keep CRM systems updated with accurate records and contribute to reliable sales forecasting.
  • Actively strive to achieve and exceed personal and team sales targets.

Required Experience

·         Skilled at comprehending and clearly communicating product specifications and features.

·         Proven experience in representing organisations at trade shows and exhibitions.

·         Strong proficiency in negotiation and closing sales deals effectively.
