Field Service Technicians – Kent / SE London (Day Shift) &
Surrey / SW London (Day Shift)
We are currently working on a great opportunity for a Field
Service Technician to join our client's team. As a Field
Service Technician, you will be based in South East London / Kent and
be involved with the technical and service side of the kiosks the company
operate. The role is focused on kiosk performance and building their brand.
Reporting to the Area Co-ordinator, you will work shifts for assigned kiosks
maximising their ability to dispense/exchange cash, clean, repair and maintain
the kiosks
Due to the nature of the industry in which they operate, you
will need to be confident working within a highly-regulated environment, be
adaptable, quick to learn, able to work autonomously and with minimal
direction.
The full job specification is as follows;
Criteria for the Position are:
· Kent / Surrey based essential
· Sound computer literacy
· Strong communication skills with good understanding of English
· Willing to work after hours as required and variable shift
patterns
· Be physically fit
· Attend initial training at their Kent based factory (1-2
Weeks)
· ATM/ vending experience is preferable
· Electro-mechanical experience
· Good Understanding of low voltage systems
· Space to safely park a company vehicle
Responsibilities / Job Requirements
· Work to a shift schedule as issued by Area Co-Ordinator.
· Escalate kiosk technical problems to Area Co-ordinator for
guidance and help
· Use resources available to you to maintain and repair faults
first time.
· Perform maintenance checks on each visit to prevent further
faults from occurring.
· Communicate via Freshdesk ticketing system on all issues.
· Conduct cleaning of kiosk on each visit (EVC) and check that
branding and signage is correct, reporting any damage or hygiene issues to Area
Co-ordinator
· Perform hardware and software upgrades as requested
· Apply best practices and appropriate security levels, policies
and procedures in accordance with company standards
· Manage parts usage and return of stock
Skills Required
· Sound technical understanding of Electro–Mechanical computer
background
· Enthusiasm to learn new skills, adapt quickly to changing
environments
· A positive can-do attitude regarding solving problems.
· Willing to work as a team and assist when required
Working Hours
· Day shift hours throughout South West. The shifts are from
7.00am to 16.00pm, 5 days a week, on a sliding weekly roster.
· Shifts are set two weeks in advance, and late notice changes
can occur due to staff absence and flexibility around changes is appreciated.
