Elite HR are delighted to be working on a
fantastic opportunity for a Finance Officer for our client based in Hook,
Hampshire. This is on a full time permanent basis.
The role will report to the Group Finance
Director and General Manager you will be responsible for the day‑to-day
oversight of the company finances, be responsible for overseeing the control
procedures including sales transactions, purchasing and employee hours worked,
with the overarching objective of driving profitability.
To be successful in this role you will need
to have had experience of the following key responsibilities and duties:

Oversee a small team responsible for revenue and cost management
control.
•
Ensure that probability is in line with budget.
•
Effective control of stock, hours employed and purchasing across the
site.
•
In conjunction with the General Manager, produce the Company’s annual
budgets and business plans in line with guidelines set by the Finance Director.
•
Support the central team in the production of the monthly management
accounts and help the General Manager analyse the results.
•
Assist in delivery of a culture of reducing waste and increasing energy
efficiency by analysing and communicating consumption information.
Skills,
Qualifications and Expertise
·
Previous experience of managing a team
·
Previous experience within hospitality is essential
·
A formal finance qualification would be advantageous
·
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
