Elite HR are delighted to be working with an organisation based near Chichester, West Sussex in the recruitment of their Finance Manager on a full time permanent basis.

This is a high profile role reporting into the General Manager with direct contact with the Board of Directors.  You will be responsible for the day­‑to-day oversight of the company finances, month end reporting and budget preparation and forecasting.

To be successful in this role you will need to have had experience of the following key responsibilities and duties:

•        Month end close process to include the maintenance of the general ledger, bank reconciliation and producing financial statements.

•        Preparing and maintaining annual budgets and forecasts.

•        Preparing all management reports detailing budgets variances, production and sales data.

•        Provide analytical support to the Executive team and board, driving strategic and operational decisions.

•        Year-end audit and tax fillings

•        Assist as needed on projects

Skills, Qualifications and Expertise

·         Proven previous experience of working in a similar role is essential

·         Previous experience within the wine industry would be advantageous

·         Degree educated to include Accounting and Finance.

·         ACCA, CPAA or equivalent would be desirable

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written

·         Excellent Accuracy and attention to detail

·         Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAGE is desirable
