Elite HR are proud to be working with our prestigious client to find an exceptional Finance Manager to embrace this key role within the organisation. The role is based near Basingstoke, Hampshire and is on a full-time permanent basis.

 

Reporting directly into the Group Finance Director and General Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the company finances, overseeing the control procedures, sales transactions, purchasing and employee hours worked, with the overarching objective of driving profitability.

 

To successfully deliver against the role, the ideal candidate will need to have experience of the following key responsibilities and duties:

 

·         To effectively manage the accounts team ensuring all weekly, monthly and annual internal and statutory deadlines are met in a timely manner

·         Support the General Manager in directing the Heads of Department to achieve their Key Performance Indicators

·         In conjunction with the General Manager, produce the Company’s annual budgets and business plans in line with guidelines set by the Finance Manager

·         Oversee and ensure that effective management and control of revenue and billing is achieved throughout the operation

·         Drive best-practice across new and existing technology platforms, fully understanding key systems such as Opera, Pegasus, Fourth, Freedom Pay, eCompleat etc.

·         Be a role model, leading on all financial management across the Business and within the Accounts Department

·         Ensure effective management of the Company’s finances so that guest experience is never compromised

Skills, Qualifications and Expertise

 

·         Previous experience within hospitality is essential

·         Previous experience of managing a team

·         A formal finance qualification would be advantageous but not essential

·         Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
