Minibus Driver Job Description:

Southampton based – Must have D1 category on licence and be confident driving a minibus or with minibus driving experience. These are part time positions and shifts are only available on an ad-hoc basis.

You will be transporting other car drivers around Southampton docks so that they can pick up cruise passenger cars or return the drivers to the car collection point once all vehicles have been parked at their required location.

Day shifts Minibus Drivers may be required to ferry cruise passengers to and from their cars located at various car parks on Southampton docks. Which may also require you to assist with baggage handling.

You must be able to safely drive vehicles, take instructions from supervisors, observe speed limits whilst complying with health and safety and uphold company standards. You must hold a full UK driving licence and a D1 category, for insurance purposes you must have a minimum 12 months of driving experience in the UK, no more than 6 points or a disqualification on your driving licence and be aged 21+.

Shift Start Times and Length:

Day Shifts start around 10am / 11am and can last 4-8 hours.

Night Shifts start around 5pm / 6pm and can last up to 12 hours (on average these shifts last 7 to 10 hours per shift).

Pay Rates:

£11ph for Day shifts (Monday to Friday).

£12.50ph for Night shifts and Weekend shifts.

Dress Code Requirement (High-Viz provided if you do not have one): Black Trousers, Plain Blue Collared Shirt, Black Tie, Safety Shoes / Boots.
